Lisa Colls Simpson - Business Advisor
Lisa Colls Simpson is a creative and versatile business strategist with 20 years of senior management experience in commercial lending, business plan development, marketing, sales management and negotiations. Drawing on an award-winning financial career—including a recent role as Area Manager, Business Banking with Vancity Savings Credit Union, Canada’s largest credit union with $14.5 billion in assets—she offers Wardell business consulting clients unsurpassed expertise in financial literacy, credit-facility analysis, budgetary planning, organizational development, and employee attraction and retention strategies.
From 1988 to 1993, her career took on international dimensions when she became a liaison consultant to Mitsubishi Electric in Tokyo, Japan and as International Marketing Manager for Ezcony International in Miami, Florida. During this period she led market research studies to determine consumer demand and confirm product specifications, and facilitated manufacturing and trade negotiations resulting in new and renewed contract agreements.
Lisa completed her MBA at Royal Roads University with a specialization in Leadership and earned a BA in Administrative & Commercial Studies (Finance/Economics) from the University of Western Ontario. She also holds a Canadian Securities Certificate and a Grande Diplome from the French Culinary Institute in New York City.
Active in the community, she serves on the Board of Directors with Family Services of Greater Vancouver, is an adviser for MBA candidates at Royal Roads University, provides financial training to the Forum for Women Entrepreneur’s E-Series participants, and is a mentor with the Minerva Foundation, which helps women and girls achieve their full potential through programs in education, leadership development, economic security and safety.
