Amery Mold

Amery Mold is a Chartered Accountant (CA) with more than 30 years of employment experience in private industry and Canadian public service, involving organizations of all sizes. He has qualified as a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and an SAP Business One implementation consultant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada.

Amery has worked in senior financial and administrative capacities with several public and private organizations operating in Canada, the US, Asia and Europe.

Early in his career, Amery was employed in audit and executive support roles with a multi-national accounting firm and a large Canadian crown corporation. He transitioned to the private sector in 1990 and has been employed in the capacities of Internal Auditor, Controller, Accounting Manager, Board Secretary and CFO with several organizations in the lumber production, offshore lumber sales, North American lumber transportation and IT consulting fields.

In 2002, Amery participated in the founding of an IT consulting firm that specializes in the implementation of ERP solutions, the development of custom software applications, network services and hardware/software sales. Working as CFO and IT consultant for this organization, Amery contributed to its growth for several years and he continues to maintain a founding interest in this medium-sized firm with offices across Canada and in the US.

Recently, Amery has provided business consulting services to several private clients and a major provincial crown corporation, involving planning and budgeting, system design, business requirements identification, internal control review, risk management, policy and procedure design, and user acceptance testing.

Amery is married with two children and lives in Delta, BC. He attended school in Canada and the UK and has lived in the UK, Germany, France and the Caribbean. He enjoys running, cycling, swimming, playing soccer and hockey.
