Steve Baines was born in Liverpool, England and raised in Southern Alberta. He has lived and worked in Toronto, Ontario, Washington, DC, and Copenhagen Denmark, and now resides in Southern Alberta.

As a Co- Founder & CEO of his previous company,  Steve increased revenues 2,000% in 3 years becoming the 4th fastest growing company in Alberta, and increased revenues 6,400% in 5 years earning a Top 5 spot in the fastest growing companies in Canada. As the creator of an award-winning franchise, Steve set up 29 locations coast to coast across Canada in 18 months.

Steve is the recipient of the 2008 Canadian Home Builders Association - Lethbridge Rookie of the Year Award, the 2009 Business Development Bank of Canada Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, the 2009 Chamber of Commerce - Lethbridge Change & Innovation Award, and the 2010 Alberta Premier's Young Entrepreneur Award.

Steve is always giving back with his time and knowledge. He has served terms as a National Director for 3 not-for-profit associations, working on 10 of their committees and chairing 4 of them.
